The Fujifilm Instax Mini 99 is Fujifilm's high-end analog instant camera, and this Premium Edition Pack from Fujifilm India puts it in one box with a 20-shot pack of Instax Mini glossy film, so you can start printing straight away. The camera prints 62 x 46 mm photos that develop in about 90 seconds, and its leather-like matte Black body has the look of a classic film camera.
Its main trick is Color Effect Control: LEDs inside the body shine coloured light onto the film for six effects, from Faded Green and Warm Tone to Sepia and Light Leak. A side dial sets five brightness levels and a manual switch adds a vignette. Turn the lens ring for Macro, Standard or Landscape focus, or pick Indoor, Sports, Double Exposure or Bulb Mode, which holds the shutter open for up to 10 seconds for light trails.
The rechargeable NP-70S battery lasts about 10 film packs per charge, and the charger, charging cable and shoulder strap come in the box. This is a pure analog camera: there is no screen preview and no digital copy, so each shot uses one sheet of film. Once the 20 included shots are used, any Instax Mini film fits.
Charge the NP-70S battery in the battery charger with the cable in the box, then put it in the camera. Open the back door, insert an Instax Mini film pack with the yellow marks lined up and close the door; the black film cover comes out before your first picture. Turn the lens ring to switch the camera on and pick Macro, Standard or Landscape, set a colour effect and brightness on the side dials, and press the shutter button.
