Dyson Airwrap i.d. HS08 Multi-Styler and Dryer - Vinca Blue/Topaz

The Dyson Airwrap i.d. HS08 is a multi-styler and hair dryer in one, and Dyson's first connected styler. A digital motor spinning at 110,000rpm creates enough air pressure for the Coanda effect, which wraps and holds hair around the barrel so you curl with air rather than extreme heat. Intelligent heat control keeps the air under 150 degrees C.

Pair it with the MyDyson app over Bluetooth and answer a short quiz about your hair, skill level and styling goals. The styler then stores your wrap, style and cold shot timings, so the i.d. curl sequence runs each curl at the push of a button. Six attachments come in the box: a 40mm long barrel that curls in both directions, the new Conical barrel for curls closer to the root, a soft smoothing brush, a large round volumising brush, a fast dryer and the Dryer+Flyaway smoother.

Dyson rates it at 1300W with three heat and three speed settings, and an ioniser helps cut static. A Vinca blue storage case and a filter cleaning brush are included. It is made for Indian 220-240V power, and Dyson advises against using it abroad on a different voltage, even with an adaptor.

Install the MyDyson app on your phone and switch on Bluetooth. Plug in the styler, open the app and follow the steps to pair it and take the hair profile quiz. Start with the fast dryer to take wet hair to damp, then fit a barrel and use the i.d. curl sequence or the manual heat and speed settings.
