boAt Stone 650R 10W Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black

The boAt Stone 650R is a portable Bluetooth speaker in Black, shaped as a 191 mm long block with a diamond patterned mesh grille and rubber end caps. Two full range drivers give 10W of stereo output, and all the buttons sit on one end cap: power, play/pause, volume and track skip.

It connects over Bluetooth 5.0 with a range of about 10 metres. Without a phone, it plays music files from a microSD (TF) card or takes a wired source through the AUX input, and an AUX cable is in the box. A short press of the power button moves between the three modes. The built-in mic lets you answer calls on the speaker.

boAt rates the 1800 mAh battery for 7 hours on its product page, and it charges through a Micro USB port under a rubber flap in about 3.5 to 4 hours. IPX5 covers splashes and rain, not a dip in water. There is no USB drive playback, no RGB lighting and no carry strap, and buyers mention that volume is modest and battery life drops at high volume.

Charge the speaker before first use with the Micro USB cable from the box and a 5V 2A phone charger or a laptop USB port; boAt does not include an adapter. The light by the port glows red while charging and turns off when full. Hold the power button for 3 seconds to switch on, then pick "Stone 650R" from your phone's Bluetooth list.

Stone 650R speaker, Micro USB charging cable, AUX cable, user manual, warranty card and catalogue. No power adapter is included.
