boAt Stone 358 Pro 14W Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Raging Black

The boAt Stone 358 Pro is a portable Bluetooth speaker in Raging Black, shaped as a fabric covered cylinder about 94 mm across and 158 mm long, with a carry strap at one end. A 2 inch driver puts out 14W, and an RGB LED bar on the body changes colour with the music.

It connects over Bluetooth 5.3 from up to 10 metres away, and it also plays from a microSD (TF) card or a wired AUX source. Two Stone 358 Pro speakers can be paired in TWS mode to play the same track. The button strip covers power, play, volume and mode, and the built-in mic lets you take hands-free calls.

boAt rates the 3600 mAh battery for up to 12 hours at 60% volume, and a full charge over USB Type-C takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. The IPX5 rating covers splashes, rain and sweat, but not dropping it in water. Some buyers find it quieter than the 14W figure suggests, and a few say pairing occasionally gets stuck.

Charge the speaker before first use with the Type-C cable from the box and a 5V 1A phone charger; no adapter is included, and boAt warns that 9V or 12V chargers can damage it. Long press the power button to switch it on; the LED blinks white when it is ready to pair. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and pick "Stone 358 Pro" from the list (enter 0000 if a passcode is asked). A short press of M changes the mode (Bluetooth, AUX, TF card) and a long press of M turns the RGB lights on or off. If it stops responding, hold the power button for 8 seconds to reset it.
