boAt Nirvana Ion True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds with Mic - Ivory White

The boAt Nirvana Ion true wireless earbuds put a 10 mm driver in each bud and run boAt's Crystal Bionic Sound, processed by a Hi-Fi DSP chip. A two-second touch on the left earbud switches between the two EQ modes: boAt Signature Sound for heavier bass, and boAt Balanced Sound for a flatter, more even tune. Two microphones in each earbud with ENx cut the background noise on calls. These are the standard Nirvana Ion, without active noise cancelling; boAt sells that feature separately as the Nirvana Ion ANC.

Battery life is the headline. boAt rates the earbuds at up to 24 hours on one charge and about 96 more hours from the 600 mAh case, for 120 hours in total at 60% volume, and ASAP Charge tops them up quickly. In-ear detection plays the music when you put the earbuds in and pauses it when you take them out, IWP connects them to your phone as soon as the case opens, and BEAST Mode brings the audio delay down to about 60 ms for games and video.

This Ivory White pair comes with a matching charging case with a metallic band. Volume can be changed from the earbuds with three taps, and IPX4 covers sweat and splashes, not swimming. A USB Type-C cable and two spare pairs of ear tips are in the box, but no power adapter.

Charge the earbuds and the case fully before first use with the Type-C cable from the box, keeping the lid closed while charging; no adapter is included. Open the case lid with the earbuds inside and IWP switches them on; they pair with each other and a slow breathing white light on one earbud shows they are ready to pair. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and pick "Nirvana Ion" from the list; pairing mode lasts 5 minutes, and after that the earbuds reconnect to the last device each time the case opens. By default a single tap on either earbud plays or pauses, putting an earbud on answers a call, a double tap on either earbud ends or rejects a call, a double tap on the right or left earbud goes to the next or previous track, three taps on the right or left raise or lower the volume, four taps on the right call up the voice assistant, a two-second touch on the left changes the EQ mode and a two-second touch on the right turns BEAST Mode on or off. Either earbud can be used alone in mono. To reset, forget "Nirvana Ion" on your phone, put both earbuds in the case and hold the reset button on the case for 10 seconds until the earbuds and the case flash 5 times, close the lid for 5 seconds, then open it and pair again.

Nirvana Ion earbuds (one pair), charging case, USB Type-C charging cable, two spare pairs of ear tips (small and large), user manual, warranty card, catalogue and FAQ card. No power adapter is included.
