boAt Airdopes Prime 701 ANC True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds - Obsidian Grey

The boAt Airdopes Prime 701 ANC true wireless noise cancelling earbuds put a 10 mm driver in each bud and use hybrid active noise cancellation that boAt rates at up to 46 dB, for buses, trains and busy offices. The boAt Hearables app switches between ANC, Ambient and Off, turns on boAt Spatial Audio for a wider, surround-style sound, and offers an equaliser plus a hearing-test based Adaptive EQ. Two microphones in each earbud with AI-ENx cut the background noise on calls.

Multipoint keeps the earbuds connected to two devices at once, such as a phone and a laptop, and IWP reconnects them as soon as the case opens. In-ear detection pauses the music when you take an earbud out, and BEAST Mode brings the audio delay down to about 60 ms for games and video. boAt rates playback at up to 50 hours in total with ANC off, or 35 hours with ANC on, and ASAP Charge gives about 180 minutes of music from a 10-minute charge.

This Obsidian Grey pair has metallic stems and a matching charging case. Volume is set from the phone, the earbuds cannot call up a voice assistant, and IPX5 covers sweat and splashes, not swimming. A USB Type-C cable and spare ear tips are in the box, but no power adapter.

Charge the case and earbuds before first use with the Type-C cable from the box; boAt warns against 9V or 12V fast chargers, which can damage the case, and no adapter is included. Open the case lid with the earbuds inside and they power on by themselves; take them out and they enter pairing mode with slowly blinking white LEDs. Pick "Airdopes Prime 701 ANC" in your phone's Bluetooth list (enter 0000 if a passcode is asked for); after that IWP reconnects them each time the case opens. Install the boAt Hearables app to switch between ANC, Ambient and Off, turn on Spatial Audio, set the equaliser or Adaptive EQ, change the touch controls, manage multipoint and in-ear detection, and update the firmware. By default a single tap on either earbud plays, pauses or answers a call, a double tap ends or rejects a call, and a double tap on the left or right earbud goes to the previous or next track. Volume is set from the phone. To reset, forget "Airdopes Prime 701 ANC" on your phone, put both earbuds in the case with the lid open and hold the reset button for 10 seconds until the earbuds blink white and the case blinks red 5 times, close the lid for a few seconds, then open it and pair again.

Airdopes Prime 701 ANC earbuds (one pair) in their charging case, USB Type-C charging cable, two spare ear tips and the Smart Guide. No power adapter is included.
