boAt Airdopes Loop Open Ear True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds with Mic - Cool Grey

The boAt Airdopes Loop are open ear (OWS) true wireless earbuds. Instead of sitting inside the ear canal, each earbud clips onto the outer edge of the ear and directs sound into it, so the ear stays open and you can still hear traffic, announcements and people around you. boAt designed the clip-on fit to stay put on the move and to avoid the pressure some people feel from in-ear tips.

Each earbud has a 12 mm driver covering 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with two EQ modes: boAt Signature Sound with extra bass, and Private Mode for more focused listening. Hold the right earbud for 3 seconds to switch between them. Four microphones, two in each earbud, work with ENx to cut the background noise around your voice on calls.

Insta Wake 'n' Pair connects them as soon as you open the case, over Bluetooth 5.3 with a range of up to 10 metres. A touch control on each earbud handles play and pause, track skips, calls and Google Assistant or Siri, BEAST Mode lowers the audio delay to about 40 ms for games and video, and either earbud can be used on its own in mono mode.

boAt rates total playback at up to 50 hours with the 480 mAh case, at 60% volume. The earbuds charge in about 40 minutes and the case in up to 2 hours over USB Type-C, and 10 minutes of ASAP Charge gives about 200 minutes of music.

Because the ear canal stays open, there is no active noise cancelling, and in loud places music sounds quieter than with sealed in-ear earbuds. Volume is set from the phone. IPX4 covers sweat and splashes, not swimming. A USB Type-C cable is in the box, but no power adapter.

Charge the earbuds and case fully before first use with the USB Type-C cable from the box; boAt recommends a 5V/2A adapter, which is not included, and the earbuds cannot be used while they charge. Open the case lid and Insta Wake 'n' Pair switches the earbuds on and puts them in pairing mode, shown by red and blue flashes; you can also hold both earbuds for 3 seconds to switch them on. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and choose 'Airdopes Loop' in the list (enter 0000 if a passcode is asked). After that they reconnect to the last device when you open the case. Wear the earbud marked L on your left ear and R on your right, clipped over the outer edge of the ear. Single tap either earbud to play, pause or answer a call, double tap either earbud to end or reject a call, double tap the left earbud for the previous track and the right for the next one, hold the left earbud for 3 seconds for Google Assistant or Siri, hold the right earbud for 3 seconds for Private Mode, and tap the right earbud 3 times for BEAST Mode. The earbuds may start at full volume the first time, so set the volume from your phone. To reset, forget 'Airdopes Loop' on your phone, put the earbuds in the case, press the reset button inside the case for 5 seconds until all four case lights flash 5 times, close the lid for a few seconds, then open it and pair again.

Airdopes Loop earbuds (one pair), charging case, USB Type-C charging cable and user guide. No power adapter is included.
