boAt Airdopes 161 ANC Elite True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds - Blue

The boAt Airdopes 161 ANC Elite true wireless earbuds use a 10 mm dynamic driver in each bud and feedforward active noise cancellation that boAt rates at up to 32 dB. A long touch on the right earbud steps through ANC on, Ambient mode and off, so you can shut out a noisy commute or let the station announcements in. A long touch on the left earbud switches between boAt Signature Sound and a Balanced EQ.

Each earbud carries two microphones, four in all, and ENx environmental noise cancellation keeps your voice clear on calls. Bluetooth 5.3 holds the link up to about 10 metres away, IWP connects the earbuds to the last paired phone as soon as the case opens, and BEAST Mode brings the audio delay down to about 50 ms for games and video. boAt rates playback at up to 6 hours per charge and 50 hours in total with the case with ANC off, or 5 and 40 hours with ANC on, and 10 minutes of ASAP Charge gives up to 150 minutes of music.

The Elite finish puts chrome plating on the earbud stems and around the rounded case. Volume is set from the phone, the touch controls cannot call up a voice assistant, and IPX5 covers sweat and water splashes, not swimming. A USB Type-C cable is in the box, but no power adapter.

Charge the case fully before first use with the Type-C cable from the box; boAt recommends a 5V/2A USB adapter, which is not included, and a full charge takes about 1.5 hours. Open the lid and the earbuds power on and enter pairing mode, shown by red and blue lights blinking in turn (or long touch both earbuds for 3 seconds). Pick "Airdopes 161 ANC Elite" in your phone's Bluetooth list; after that IWP reconnects them each time the case opens. Single tap either earbud to play, pause or answer a call, double tap either earbud to end or reject a call, and double tap the right or left earbud for the next or previous track. Long touch the right earbud for 3 seconds to cycle ANC on, Ambient and ANC off, and long touch the left earbud for 3 seconds to switch between boAt Signature Sound and Balanced EQ. Volume is set from the phone. Long touch both earbuds for 5 seconds to power off, or put them back in the case. To reset, forget "Airdopes 161 ANC Elite" on your phone, tap the touch sensors on both earbuds together 4 times until the red light blinks once, put them in the case, close the lid, open it again after a few seconds and pair again.

Airdopes 161 ANC Elite earbuds with the charging case, USB Type-C charging cable, user guide and two extra ear tips. No power adapter is included.
