The boAt Aavante Lyric is a compact 2.1 channel soundbar rated at 40W RMS, sold with a separate wired subwoofer. The bar is 374 mm long and holds two 2 inch drivers behind a wave-pattern grille, while the subwoofer adds a 4 inch driver for bass. It suits a bedroom or a small living room TV.
Connect a TV with an HDMI ARC cable, or use the AUX cable in the box for older sets. Bluetooth 5.3 streams from a phone or laptop up to about 10 metres away, and the USB port plays MP3 files from a flash drive. The master remote switches inputs, picks the Music, Movie or News EQ mode and has its own bass and treble buttons. Four buttons on top of the bar cover power, play/pause and volume.
There is no optical input, so a TV without HDMI ARC has to use AUX or Bluetooth. The subwoofer is wired to the bar, so keep the two close enough for the cable. boAt designs it to sit on a TV unit or shelf and includes no wall-mount kit. It runs on mains power only and has no built-in battery.
