Powerbeats Pro 2 are true wireless noise cancelling earbuds made for training. Light nickel-titanium ear hooks hold each 8.7 g earbud in place through runs, lifts and HIIT sessions, and five ear tip sizes from XS to XL help you get a good seal. LED optical sensors in each earbud read your heart rate and share it live with compatible fitness apps.

The Apple H2 chip runs Active Noise Cancelling, Transparency mode and Adaptive EQ, which uses inward-facing microphones to tune the sound to your fit. Dual-layer drivers and new venting give fuller bass with less ear pressure, and Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking works with supported content. Apple devices get one-touch pairing, automatic switching, hands-free Siri and Find My, and the Beats app brings one-touch pairing and heart rate monitoring to Android. Three microphones and a voice accelerometer per earbud keep calls clear.

Apple rates the earbuds at up to 10 hours per charge and 45 hours in total with the case, or 8 and 36 hours with noise cancelling on. A 5-minute Fast Fuel charge gives up to 1.5 hours. The case charges on a Qi wireless charger or over USB-C, but neither a USB-C cable nor a power adapter is in the box. The earbuds are IPX4 rated; the case is not. Each Electric Orange pair comes with a colour-matched case.

Charge the case first, either on a Qi wireless charger or with your own USB-C cable and power adapter, as neither is in the box. With an iPhone, open the lid with the earbuds inside, hold the case next to the unlocked iPhone and follow the on-screen prompts; the earbuds then work with the other devices signed in to your Apple Account. On an Android phone, install the Beats app, open the lid near the unlocked phone and follow the prompts in the app, or pair from the phone's Bluetooth menu. Medium ear tips come fitted; try the other four sizes for the best seal, which also helps noise cancelling and heart rate readings.

Apple's One (1) Year Limited Warranty covers Beats branded products against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of original retail purchase, in addition to your rights under consumer law. Keep your invoice, as Apple may ask for proof of purchase. Batteries that wear with normal use and damage from accidents, misuse or unauthorised repairs are not covered, and Apple may limit warranty service to the country where the product was first sold; this is the India model.
