Beats Pill Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Statement Red

The Beats Pill is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker, rebuilt inside in 2024. A bespoke racetrack woofer moves 90% more air than the old Beats Pill+, driven by neodymium magnets with 28% more motor force, while a tweeter in its own housing takes care of the highs and mids. Both point 20 degrees upward so the sound reaches you instead of the table, and the woofer's ridged structure keeps bass distortion down at high volume.

Apple rates the battery at up to 24 hours, and a 10-minute Fast Fuel charge adds up to 2 hours. The USB-C port charges the speaker, tops up your phone from the speaker's battery, and takes lossless audio from a laptop or other compatible device. One-touch pairing and Find My work on iPhone, and Android phones get the same quick pairing plus Find My Device. Class 1 Bluetooth 5.3 gives longer range, and the built-in microphone turns the Pill into a speakerphone.

The Pill is a mono speaker; for left and right channels, link a second Beats Pill in Stereo Mode, or use Amplify Mode to play both together. There is no Wi-Fi, AirPlay or 3.5 mm aux input, and Siri or Google Assistant is started with a button rather than a wake word. The Statement Red model comes with a colour-matched removable lanyard and soft-grip silicone back.

Charge the Beats Pill with the USB-C to USB-C cable in the box and your own USB-C power adapter. Hold the speaker near your unlocked iPhone or Android phone and follow the on-screen prompt, or press and hold the power button until the light blinks white and choose Beats Pill in your Bluetooth settings. A second audio cue confirms it is connected. To link two Beats Pill speakers, press and hold the centre button on both until the lights turn blue (Amplify Mode); then press and hold the centre and plus buttons on one speaker to switch to Stereo Mode. A quick press of the power button shows the battery level: green means charged, red means low.

Beats Pill wireless Bluetooth speaker, removable carry lanyard, USB-C to USB-C cable for charging and audio, Quick Start Guide and warranty card. No power adapter is included.
