Beats Flex All-Day Wireless Neckband Earphones - Beats Black

Beats Flex are wireless neckband earphones made to be worn all day. A flexible Flex-Form cable with Nitinol construction sits behind your neck and joins two slim control modules, and the whole set weighs 18.6 g. The earbuds are magnetic: clip them together and the music pauses, put them back in your ears and it plays again. Each earbud has a proprietary two-layer driver in a dual-chamber acoustic design for clear stereo separation and controlled bass, and laser-cut micro-venting relieves ear pressure.

The Apple W1 chip sets Beats Flex up with an iPhone or iPad in one tap and makes them ready on every device signed in to your iCloud account. Apple devices also get Audio Sharing with another pair of Beats or AirPods, and Find My. Android phones connect through their Bluetooth settings, and the Beats app for Android adds options such as automatic play and pause. Class 1 Bluetooth gives longer range and fewer dropouts, and the built-in microphone reduces wind noise on calls.

Apple rates the battery at up to 12 hours of listening, and a 10-minute Fast Fuel charge gives 1.5 hours when you are running low. A USB-C to USB-C cable is in the box, but the power adapter is sold separately. Beats Flex have no active noise cancelling, and Beats gives them no sweat or water resistance rating. The Beats Black model has colour-matched earbuds, cable and control modules.

Charge Beats Flex first with the USB-C to USB-C cable in the box and your own USB-C power adapter. Press and hold the power button on the right control module for one second to switch them on. With an iPhone or iPad, turn on Bluetooth, hold the earphones near the unlocked device and tap Connect on the card that appears; they are then ready on the other devices signed in to your iCloud account. On an Android phone or another device, hold the power button until the light flashes, choose Beats Flex in the Bluetooth settings, and install the Beats app for Android for settings and updates. Try the four ear tip sizes to find the best seal.

Apple's One (1) Year Limited Warranty covers Beats branded products against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of original retail purchase, in addition to your rights under consumer law. Keep your invoice, as Apple may ask for proof of purchase. Batteries that wear with normal use and damage from accidents, misuse or unauthorised repairs are not covered, and Apple may limit warranty service to the country where the product was first sold; this is the India model.
