The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max in Black with 2TB of storage has a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion up to 120Hz, an Always-On mode and up to 3,000 nits outdoors. The aluminium unibody has Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and is rated IP68. Heat from the A20 Pro chip goes into a vapour chamber, so performance stays steady through long games and video exports.
Apple rates the India model at up to 43 hours of video playback and 29 hours of typical use, and five minutes of wired charging gives around 7 hours of video. On the back are three 48MP cameras: a Fusion Main with an f/1.48 to f/4.0 aperture, an Ultra Wide that also shoots macro, and a Telephoto with 4x and 8x optical-quality zoom. It launched with iOS 27.
In India it uses one nano-SIM plus an eSIM, there is no memory card slot, and Apple publishes neither the RAM nor the battery capacity. Only a USB-C cable is in the box; 50% in about 15 minutes needs a 60W or higher adapter with Adjustable Voltage Supply. At 249 g and 163.4 mm tall, it is heavy for one-handed use.
The India model has a SIM tray on the left side for one nano-SIM, and it also takes an eSIM, so you can use two numbers. Charge it with the USB-C Charge Cable from the box and your own USB-C power adapter, then turn it on. If you have another iPhone, keep it unlocked nearby with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on and use Quick Start to copy your apps and data. During setup you can move your number from your old iPhone with eSIM Quick Transfer (Airtel and Jio), or add an eSIM from your network by QR code or app (Airtel, Jio and Vi). Keep both phones close and plugged in until the transfer finishes.

Apple's One (1) Year Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of original retail purchase, in addition to your rights under consumer law. Liquid damage is not covered. Keep your invoice, as Apple may ask for proof of purchase. Apple may limit warranty service to the country where Apple or its authorised distributors first sold the device; this is the India model.
