The Apple iPhone 16 Plus in Black with 256GB of storage has an aluminium design with Ceramic Shield on the front and a glass back, rated IP68. The 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display has the Dynamic Island and reaches 2,000 nits outdoors. The A18 chip has a 6-core CPU, a 5-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine, and supports Apple Intelligence.
The 48MP Fusion camera has sensor-shift OIS and a 12MP 2x optical-quality option, and the 12MP Ultra Wide camera also shoots macro. Video goes up to 4K Dolby Vision at 60 fps, with spatial video, Cinematic mode and Action mode. Camera Control on the side opens the camera and adjusts zoom and exposure, and the Action button can run a shortcut. It launched with iOS 18.
The India model takes one nano-SIM and an eSIM. There is no memory card slot, the USB-C port runs at USB 2 speeds, and Apple does not publish the RAM or battery capacity. The display has no ProMotion or Always-On mode. No power adapter is in the box, and the 50% in around 30 minutes charge needs a 20W or higher adapter. Apple India stopped selling it in September 2026.
The India model has a SIM tray on the left side for one nano-SIM, and it also takes an eSIM, so you can use two numbers. Charge it with the USB-C Charge Cable from the box and your own USB-C power adapter, then turn it on. If you have another iPhone, keep it unlocked nearby with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on and use Quick Start to copy your apps and data. Keep both phones close and plugged in until the transfer finishes.
iPhone 16 Plus, a USB-C Charge Cable (1 m) and documentation. A power adapter is not included.
