The iPad 11-inch (A16) is Apple's everyday iPad, with an all-screen aluminium design that is 7.0 mm thin and weighs 481 g. Its 11-inch Liquid Retina display shows 2360 x 1640 pixels at 264 ppi, with 500 nits of brightness and True Tone. This listing is the 512GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model in Blue.
Inside is the A16 chip with a 5-core CPU, a 4-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine, enough for schoolwork, office apps and games on iPadOS. The 12MP Wide camera on the back records 4K video, and the landscape 12MP Center Stage camera keeps you in frame on FaceTime and video calls. Landscape stereo speakers and dual mics handle calls and films.
Besides Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, this model has 5G and Gigabit LTE on eSIM (no SIM tray), plus GPS. Battery life is up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi or 9 hours on mobile data (Apple). The USB-C port charges it with the 20W adapter in the box and drives one external display up to 4K. It works with Apple Pencil (USB-C) and, through an adapter, Apple Pencil (1st generation). There is no headphone jack, and storage cannot be expanded later.
Press and hold the top button to turn the iPad on, then follow the setup screens to choose your language, join Wi-Fi and sign in with your Apple Account. If you have an iPhone or another iPad, hold it close and use Quick Start to copy your settings, apps and data. Add your fingerprint to Touch ID in the top button when asked. This model uses eSIM only and has no SIM tray, so add a mobile data plan from a carrier that supports eSIM for iPad, during setup or later in Settings. Charge it with the 20W USB-C Power Adapter and USB-C Charge Cable from the box.
