Apple 140W USB-C Power Adapter

The Apple 140W USB-C Power Adapter is the most powerful USB-C adapter in Apple's range. Apple recommends it for the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021 or later), connected with the USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable or the 240W USB-C Charge Cable, for fast charging to around 50 per cent in about 30 minutes.

It works with any USB-C device, and Apple India lists MacBook Pro models back to the 16-inch 2019 model, MacBook Air, MacBook Neo, Apple Vision Pro, iPad Pro, iPhone and AirPods as compatible. That makes it one desk charger for a MacBook Pro and your other Apple devices, one at a time.

Only the adapter is in the box, and the charging cable is sold separately. Fast charging on the 16-inch MacBook Pro needs the MagSafe 3 cable or a 240W USB-C Charge Cable. This listing is part MLYU3HN/A, the earlier India version of the 140W adapter; Apple India now sells it as part MW2M3HN/A.

Plug the adapter into a wall socket and connect your MacBook with a USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable or a USB-C Charge Cable (sold separately). For fast charging on the 16-inch MacBook Pro, use the MagSafe 3 cable or a 240W USB-C Charge Cable. The same adapter also charges an iPhone, iPad or AirPods with the matching USB-C cable.
